She was born on January 11, 1939, in Leyte, Philippines. A devoted mother, Benita dedicated her life to raising her family, caring for others, and was a dedicated member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. She was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, patience, and love of family.
She is survived by her six children and twenty-one grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jacinto Lobusta, and daughter, Alma.
A viewing will be held in her honor at Funeraria Del Angel National City, located at 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA, 91950, on February 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Her final resting place will be in Manila Memorial Park in the Philippines.
