He was born in Arkansas, joined the Navy at a young age, serving honorably for 20 years, retiring proudly as a Navy SEAL.
After retiring, he started his own construction business.
His work in construction was his passion. He worked long hard hours, expecting his men to keep up with him. And they did.
Arkansas was his home away from home, going back to take care of whatever project he started, enjoying BBQ’s with family and friends. Riding his horse, Whiskey Pete, boating, fishing, SCUBA diving, country western songs, and Coors Light beer gave him great pleasure.
He loved his family and friends, always ready to share a beer, a burger, and a funny joke, and relished hugs from the grandkids.
He was a gentle giant, with sparkling blue eyes.
We will miss him dearly.
