Esperanza "Guera" Villagomez, born on November 8, 1946, in Tijuana, Baja California, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025, where she was lovingly greeted by her beloved son, Peter Padilla Jr.
Guera was known for her caring heart, strength, humor, and selfless love. She devoted her life to her family-her children, Peter Padilla Jr., Ana Padilla, and Elizabeth Padilla, her grandchildren Arturo Vazquez, Brianna Iniguez, and Yulissa Iniguez, and her great-grandchildren Brielle Iniguez and Lucas Vazquez. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all of us.
In loving memory of Guera, her family invites everyone to wear bright, beautiful colors -especially her favorites, yellow and orange -to celebrate the light, joy, and warmth she brought into their lives.
A memorial service for Esperanza will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel National City, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950.
