Luis Manuel Estrella Chavez was born in Tijuana B.C. Mexico on September 25, 1962 to Juan Chavez and Josefina Estrella. Luis entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2019 in La Jolla. California.

Luis was very proud to have joined the Air Force in December of 1986 where he received a Good Conduct Medal, Longevity Service Award, and Outstanding Unit Award.

He loved his country music, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe. GO CHARGERS!!! His favorite team!

Luis will be dearly missed by his son Luis Chavez, his brothers, Johnny Chavez, Alfredo Chavez, Francisco Chavez, and Victor Chavez.
