Luz Maria was born February 8, 1936, in Los Angeles, California.
Luz Maria lived her early years in Tijuana and later went on to work for over 40 years at the Greyhound Bus Station in San Ysidro.
She worked hard and loved spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews.
Luz Maria was an exemplary daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend.
She is survived by her sister, Christina Omana, Lydia Beltran and her youngest brother, Eduardo Omana, 23 nieces and nephews, 53 great nieces and nephews, 17 great-great grand nieces and nephews.
Tia Luz is so deeply loved...we will miss her but know that she is in the loving arms of Jesus in heaven.
A funeral mass for Luz will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 4:30 PM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 293 H Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A memorial breakfast will occur Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Mariscos Don Pepe, Blvd. Fundadores 688, Juarez, 22040, Tijuana, Baja California.
