She never missed greeting us on our birthdays and you can bet on getting a gift as well. She was a very thoughtful and caring person and quite a social butterfly with lots of friends everywhere she went. She was very good at crocheting and could not only make stars or butterflies but also blankets for us to enjoy. We will miss her lumpia and bistek tagalog. She was truly a supportive and loving Aunt. Lydia is survived by her brother Primitivo Gan and adopted sister Sonie Gan. Along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She loved her family very much and sacrificed for them for many years.
