Maria Munar what a beautiful soul, you will be missed enormously! I had the privilege of meeting you many years ago while working together in downtown San Diego. You treated me like a sister from day one, included me in everything at work, made me feel welcome always, including your home. I will forever have those fun, happy memories of traveling together with you and the Ya Ya Girls!
Rest in Peace until we meet again mi Amiga. ♥

I first met Sonnet in the 1970s when we were all teenagers. I was the wild child, and Roxanne was the tom boy, but Sonnet was always kind and comforting to teenage girls with so many questions. She always looked out for others with her open and loving heart. The world is a sadder place without her in it.

To quote Frank Morgan "A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others. " By this measure, Sonnet's heart was the size of an elephant.

Maria was one of my staff at San Diego County Health and Human Services Department. She loved people, always had a smile and always willing to help anyone in need. When I retired Maria was still there doing what she did best - helping others.
Sending my condolences to Maria's Family and Friends.

Maria was a very special gentle soul, I enjoyed working with her and admired her sensitivity and understanding and caring person that she was. I worked with Maria in CAP (Community Action Partnership), I am very glad to have had her as a part of my life.
