Martha Melendez de Peña passed away on May 21, 2026, leaving a legacy of unwavering love for her family and deep faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she lived with compassion, service, and steadfast devotion to God.
She was born on February 17, 1945, in Durango, Mexico, to Jesus Daniel Melendez and Julia Huitron. Martha grew up alongside her siblings Esther, Jesus, Elizabeth, Pedro, Mario, Julia, Guillermo, and Benjamin.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Rachel Reid and Elizabeth Kimble; her sons-in-law, Daniel Reid and Terry Kimble; her granddaughters, Tabitha Hale and Leah Kimble; and her grandsons, Daniel Pena and Joseph Kimble. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
Celebration of Life will be at San Diego New Life Church 730 Concepcion Ave. Spring Valley California 91977 at 10am on Friday, June 5, 2026.
