Nicolas Anthony Duran

Nicolas Anthony Duran was born on July 20, 1988, in San Diego, California to Maria Dolores (Lola) Moreno. Nicolas, or Nick, as he was affectionately called by those who loved him, attended school within the San Diego Unified School District. He attended Mead Elementary, Marshall Elementary and Webster Elementary Schools during his elementary years and Gompers Preparatory Academy for Junior and Senior High Schools.

Nick was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. A natural comedian, he had a gift for impersonations and always knew how to lift spirits with his humor. His laughter was infectious, and his energy was unforgettable.

But beyond the laughter, Nick had a huge heart. He was deeply passionate about music-whether he was making beats, producing, or simply sharing his latest creations, music was his love language. He had the rare ability to bring people together and to make anyone feel seen and valued, no matter their walk in life.

Nick wasn't just a friend to many, if you knew him, he was family. Nick was a beloved son, loyal brother, proud uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. His presence was constant, his care unconditional, and his spirit will forever live in the hearts of those he touched.

On May 12, 2025, at the age of 36, God called Nicolas Anthony Duran home to find peace and rest. Nick was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Andrew Lerma. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Maria Dolores (Lola) Moreno. His sisters: Juanita Lerma, Ana Williams and Dolores Duran. Brother: Joseph Duran. Grandmother: Olga Honey Martinez, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
