Mrs. Raquel Fonseca Contreras

Raquel Fonseca Contreras, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the evening of Monday, January 16, 2023. She leaves behind her children Irene (David) Dobias, Irma Contreras, and Ramon (Patricia) Contreras. She also leaves grandchildren Nicole Cervantes, Amanda Contreras, Austin Dobias, and great grandson Caden Kirschner. She was predeceased by her husband Ramon Peralta Contreras on March 8, 2013 and her eldest grandchild Julian Cervantes on July 23, 2013. In lieu of flowers please donate to the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance in memory of Raquel F. Contreras, who loved this place and adored its animals. A visitation for Raquel will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel National City, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950. A Funeral Mass will occur on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA 92102. Following the mass, a burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
