It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andre David Barry Milette. At just 47 years old, after a ten year battle with progressive MS, Andre left us on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at 7:32 PM at the St Boniface Hospital. He will be deeply missed by many. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Nicole Milette, their dogs Lucy, Bear, Wolf, Ruby & Grizzly, his siblings Colette Milette (John Wiebe), Don Milette (Val Milette), Marc Milette (Rachelle Milette), Louise Unrau (Mel Unrau), John Milette (Shanna Milette), and his nieces and nephews Mia, Alyssa-Mae, Braydon, Kylee, Sydnee, Zoee, Travis (daughters Aubrey and Stella), Curtis and Rylan. He's predeceased by his mother and father Doreen & Roger Milette.
Andre was the youngest of six siblings. He had a passion for the outdoors which included fishing, boating, 4x4'ing, and snowmobiling. Andre brought a lot of joy and laughter to those in his life and would help anyone in need of a hand. During our harsh Manitoba winters, when he was still able to, he would venture out in storms searching for stranded drivers, helping to tow them out of ditches and snowbanks. He was an outgoing and charismatic individual that left an imprint in the hearts of everyone he met.
A celebration of life will be held for Andre this Thursday, May 29th, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for Andre during his time at the St Boniface hospital as well as his doctor Kelsey Friesen at the MS Clinic.
