Carole went to be with her parents, Steve & Jessie, on Mothers Day May 10, 2015. Carole is survived by her brother Allan, sister-in-law Bonnie, nephew Troy and niece Quinn, aunt Theresa Rech & many cousins.
Carole was born on June 26,1943 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Carole was missed by her father for her first 4 years as it was during the Second World War and her father was enlisted and overseas. Carole had a hard life being bi-polar, always lived with her parents and cared for them in their declining years. Carole was in an out of the hospital many times throughout her life. She lived a solitary life as her illness kept her from making friends and working. Her greatest passion was her crafts. Carole loved doing cross stitch, needle point, and crocheted afghans. If you ever wanted a picture done or an afghan made Carole would be more than willing and thrilled to make it for you. In her younger years she did oil paint by numbers. All of her projects were beautiful and meant the world to her. Carole loved attending family gatherings while her parents were still alive. Nothing was more important to Carole then her family. After her parents passed she found it difficult to attended family gatherings. Carole loved her nephew Troy & her niece Quinn, loved taking them "downtown" with her parents. and was happy to have attended their weddings. Carole loved to shop. She loved to get out and walk around the malls.
Thanks to the nursing staff at HSC GH4 ward for caring for Carole.
