Charles Alfred Ring

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Charles (Chuck) Ring, age 75 years, on August 3, 2022, at St. Boniface General Hospital, beloved husband of Chris Chubaty-Ring, and father of Caitlin, Christy, and Alana.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held on August 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Marcie Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reverend Father Alan Wizinsky officiating. Masks are recommended.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba who were involved throughout Chuck’s care when he was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2017 and then with lung cancer in 2021. Chuck’s final three weeks were spent on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface General Hospital. There are no words to acknowledge the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness shown by everyone to Chuck and his family. Thank you Dr. Crawford. Finally, a special thank you to family, friends, and neighbours who sustained us in so many different ways over the last five and a half years.
