It is with deep sadness that her family announces the peaceful passing of Dorothy, at the age of 98 years, on May 25, 2021 at the St. Boniface Hospital, with her daughter by her side.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1985, a very special aunt (Tess) in 1988 and her older siblings (Ed, Angela and “Heddy”). She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara.
Mom was born in Winnipeg, attended Holy Ghost School, and then worked at Eaton’s prior to marrying dad in 1947. After the birth of her only child, she became a devoted stay-at-home mom, a home she still lived in. Her favourite hobbies included sewing and needlepoint. She was also a long-time parishioner of Christ the King Church.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service.
