He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Susan of 60 years, son Darren (Verene) who he was so proud of, grandson Matthew Dueck (Naomi), granddaughter Kelsey Courtney (Ryan) and great-granddaughter Sonya, sister Jeanette Bauer (Eric) and many nieces and nephews.
Ed spent most of his working career in warehouse management. He would do anything he could to help anyone else in need. Ed was a patient, kind and caring man who loved fishing and spent many memorable years at Arlington Sports Club.
The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the nurses and staff at Kin Place Personal Care Home for their care of Ed over the last six years. Special thank you to Sharon, Kristen, Lisa and Erika.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will no service at this time, but a celebration of his life will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kin Place Personal Care Home Recreation Department, P.O. Box 28, 680 Pine Drive, Oakbank, MB R5N 0P8 or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
