Frances Victoria Mizak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Frances Mizak.

Mom peacefully left us, to join many others who went before her, on January 4th, 2022 at the age of 99.

She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children Peter Mizak (Val), Robert Mizak (Sheila), David Mizak (Dorothy), Linda Bumstead (Ken), Margaret Bovens, Gordon Mizak (Jill), Kathy Chapiel (Lawrie) and Rodney Mizak (Karen)

Grandchildren Michael, Derek, Jason, Kyle, Robbie, Shelley, Danny, Angel, Kevin, Colin, Kendra, Erin, Katie, Tyler, Jennifer, Eric, Kaya, Jarod, Alex and their families.

Also many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Mom spent her life caring for her family. In later years she took up painting and has left us with many beautiful pieces of art. Mom loved knitting and knitted many mitts for those in need. She loved traveling, playing cards, bowling and spent many special hours socializing.

A private service will be on January 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed via www.greenacresfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Lupus Canada or a charity of choice.

We gratefully acknowledge Concordia Place for the care our mother received over the last couple of years.
