great-great grand-mother, Gertrude Brown, on January 15, 2014 at Riverview Health Centre.

Mom will be lovingly remembered by her 5 children, daughters Beverly (David) Kamstra and Lynn (Jerry)

Levandoski, and sons Larry (Connie), Wayne and Kelly, as well as 6 grand-children, 14 great grand-children

and 1 great-great grand-child. She will also be missed by her sisters, Nettie Reimer and husband Joel, and Susan Brown, as well as brothers Andrew and Edward and wife Sylvia, and their families.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Abe Brown, her parents Abram and Maria (Penner) Kehler, her sister

Mary and husband Joe Loewen, brother-in-law Bill Brown, and sister-in-law Shirley Kehler.

Mom and Dad were married in Plum Coulee in 1942 and lived in the Austin area, in later years the family moved to Winnipeg. Mom worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide, working at both the King George and Princess Elizabeth Hospitals. Mom retired in the 80’s and she and Dad were able to enjoy many years of travelling, visiting and church activities.

Our family would like to extend heartfelt Thanks to all of the 4th floor staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and care for Mom.

Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy # 1 at Navin Road, with viewing half hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
