Gisela Finken

Peacefully, on April 14, 2020 at the age of 95 at Golden Links Lodge, Gisela Finken, our beautiful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away.

She joined her parents Karl and Gisela Zach, siblings Harrold, Karl, Franz, Esther and husband Armin Finken. Gisela will be lovingly remembered by her son John, granddaughters Mélanie (Trevor) and Isabelle (Jeff), great grandchildren Corey and Emma, brother Siegfried, brother-in-law Lueder (Mary), sister-in-law Heilwig, numerous nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.

Gisela was born in Fürstenfeld, Austria on March 24, 1925. She married the love of her life, Armin in 1955 while working in Switzerland then immigrated to Canada. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, beautiful smile and magnetic personality.

The family would like to graciously thank all the wonderful staff at Golden Links Lodge, Riverside Lions where she previously resided and Home Care for the loving care provided.

A celebration of life will be arranged at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
