Héléna Marie Trudeau (née Audette)

Héléna is predeceased by her husband Augustin Trudeau, and children David and Diane.

She leaves to mourn her two daughters: Paulette (Jacques) and Lucille (Jules); 10 grandchildren - of Diane and Paul Desmarais: Mona, Lise, Denis, Monique, and Natalie, of Paulette and Emile Préfontaine: Cécile and Marc, of Lucille and Jules Lamoureux: Nadine, David, and Joel; 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy! Mom’s household duties, culinary skills, and keeping us kids well dressed showed her talents as a knitter and seamstress, bordering on perfection!

As a dedicated school Secretary, she loved doing "anything" for HER students and teachers and kept in close contact with several teacher friends! After retiring she missed her job immensely, still being the organizer and keeping track of everything for all of us! Routine was her middle name! Everyone who spoke to her called her a SWEETIE!

Always by Dad’s side, they enjoyed eating out, travelling, and watching football and hockey together.

Her final home at "Foyer Valade" gave her "a new Home and Family" as all her Caregivers tell us how interested in their lives and interesting she was to chat with. The same goes with old friends and family especially keeping in touch with her far away nieces and nephews!

So being always in her tiny room; her haven, she never got bored or down! The daily Free Press read kept her in touch with the outside world as well as her favorite T.V. Mass, news, curling, and cooking shows ?? Go figure she couldn't eat "regular food"! She was a strong, STRONG, woman!!

Our family would like to thank everyone at ActionMarguerite St. Vital for their wonderful loving care. We also thank God for her coming to Manitoba from Regina to learn “Franҫais” or else we wouldn’t be here!
