Jack Weldon

Born May 20, 1933 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg. He was baby brother to Anita, Warren was born a few years later. He was predeceased by wife, Thelma (2017); son, Cliff (2024); brother, Warren (2022); and grandson, Cy (2020).

Dad grew up in The Pas and after graduating from high school in 1951 he started working for CN. This is when he met Mom during one of his runs to Sherridon, MB.

In Dec 1955, they married and started their lives together in The Pas. They had 61 years together before mom’s passing. They raised six children: Glen (Sue), Cliff, Sandi (Tim), Norma, Kim (Mark) and Scott (Lorrie). They watched as the family grew with 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mom and Dad loved to travel from camping at Clearwater Lake to as far as California. In 1989, when Dad retired they spent summers at their home at Clearwater and settled in N. Fort Myers, FLA during the winter until 2015.

Dad’s commitment to family and lifelong friends demonstrated his strength of character. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
