Lorraine Vera Borkofsky

(nee Klimach)

Lorraine passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital, June 13, 2013 at the age of 82 years.

Lorraine Klimach was born on September 24, 1930 to parents Adolf Klimach and Elisabeth (Frieze) in the R.M of Boulton. She was baptized in Trinity Lutheran Church, Inglis, MB, went to Lockerby School and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lorraine was united in marriage to Robert Borkofsky in 1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Inglis, MB. They were blessed with Brenda in 1957 and Brian in 1959.

Lorraine was predeceased by parents Adolf and Elisabeth; husband Robert; brothers Adolf and Bert; sisters Elsie, Johanna, Molly, and Margaret.

She leaves to mourn, her daughter Brenda (Kerry) and son Brian; grandchildren Mike and Erin; sisters Gertrude (Walt), Alvina and Wilbert (Donna) as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
