Martin will be sadly missed by his children Leonard (Katie), Wanda (Ken), Ken (Lin), and Linda; grandchildren Jake, Grace, Lea, Matthew, Nicole, Sophie, Kasandra, Alyssa, and Landen. He is predeceased by his wife Maria Sawatzky.
Martin was born in Loma Plata, Chaco, Paraguay and moved to Canada with his wife and young family in 1972. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and gardening, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be a private family interment at Green Acres Cemetery where Martin will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Maria.
