Patricia Linda Gail Saltel

Pat Saltel (nee: Tuck) passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on June 19, 2014 at the age of 70.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maurice Saltel Jr., Ray Saltel (Ellen), Debbie Isaak, Judy Olson (John) and Lauraine Berard (Rod); grandchildren, Danielle, Candice, Karley, Dale, Christina, Maurice III, Andrew, Shawnee, Sarah, Eric, Jayson, Jillian, Brandon; Great-grandchildren, Tristan, Casey, Mason, and Valerie. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice after 34 years of marriage.

Pat and Maurice raised their family in St. Boniface and she could always be seen with a child in her arms, whether it was her children, her grandchildren, or her great grandchildren. There was a never ending supply of love. In her final moments her love was returned by her whole family around her. She was a stubborn and determined person. Whether it meant calling an electrician from the competition for house repairs or surprising her husband by tearing down walls in the house.

Service will be held Thursday, June 26 at 1:00 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Green Acres.

Pat’s family thanks the staff at Riverview Health Centre for the continuing and outstanding support and care of our mother. We would like to acknowledge her friend and companion Bryan along with her close friends from the Dawson Trails Apartments and her many life-long friends for their good times and all their help and support.
