It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peggy Last at her residence on February 10, 2023 at the age of 59 years.
Her husband and best friend Wilf, her daughters Christine (Shawn), Kate-Lynn (Damion) and grandson Emmett will sadly miss Peggy. She will also be remembered by her sister in laws Jackie (Claude) and Kim (Robert), three nephews Christopher and his daughter Daniela; David and his daughter Ava and Erik, and one niece Annikka.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents Karl and Ursula Merck, stepfather Curt, and in- laws Olivia and Wilfred Last.
Peggy was born in Winnipeg on July 1, 1963 and was brought up in her German roots, with its culture and traditions. She was a caring person. She loved her family, friends and relatives especially her two daughters and husband and her cat willow. Her health had deteriorated immensely in her past recent years, but could still put on a smile. She will be missed. We will meet again someday.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be planned at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to mental health and the humane society would be appreciated.
