

Quietly on the morning of May 14, 2015 “Red” Joseph Louis Leo Real passed away. He was born on July 14, 1932 in St Anne, Manitoba. He was the son of Florian and Sarah Lavergne.
Red made a career of working at Canadian National Railways on the rail lines as a young man, eventually working his way up to management until his retirement. He was also an avid member of the Knights of Columbus frequently volunteering with many fundraising events with his wife Mildred. They enjoyed spending time together helping out in many charitable events.
Red was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years Mildred of which he cherished until the day he passed. Also his parents Florian & Sarah Lavergne, his brothers Oliver, Edward, Roger, and his sisters Jeanette, Joan, and Pat.
He is survived by his Daughters Michele (Roy) Clark, Jacqueline (Pat) Albanese and grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael Clark, Carmen, Christopher, and Jonathan Albanese.
Red is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished. We wish to thank them all for making his life so filled with love.
In leu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the Cancer Society of Manitoba.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 22, 2015 at Cathedrale Manor located 321 Ave de la Cathedral at 10:00 am. There will be a lunch to follow after the service. Interment will be at Green Acres Cemetery.
