Richard "Rick" Allan Joseph Lachance

Rick is survived by his wife Marion, son Jarrod (Kelly), and his daughter Ricki, grandchildren Stephen, Jessica, Perry and Mya, mother Beatrice Joyce, brothers Jack (Collette) and Robert, and sister Linda Parkes (Bob), numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his furry companion “Dusty”. He was predeceased by his grandson Zander, father Joseph, and brother James.

Rick was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 20th, 1953, and spent his early years in West Kildonan. His early working years were spent in the plastics industry, and later in car sales. He was a very caring and generous person, and anyone who came into contact with Rick liked him almost immediately. Along with cars he loved motorcycles, “his Philadelphia Flyers”, plants, and Siamese Cats.

The family would like to thank the staff on 5E at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion they showed to Rick and to us, his family.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 5th, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road.
