Suddenly, but peacefully, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teenie Bishop at home on May 7, 2012 at the age of 95. Teenie will be sadly missed by her children Charles (Helene), Ken (Judy), Chris Perrick (Paul), and Diane, grandchildren Greg (Jenn), Scott (Chantal), Shelly Okell, Bill, Andy (Vicki), Mike Perrick (Lynda), Cindy Perrick (Gabe) & Barb Veosovich (Greg), 11 great-grandchildren, sister Helen Syroway (Mike), numerous nephews and nieces. Teenie was predeceased by her loving husband Edward May 3, 1992, her parents Peter & Nastia, & her brothers Mike & Nick.

Teenie was born in Fraserwood, Mb, educated in Fraser wood & Teulon, moved to Wpg in 1937, & married Edward Sept. 16, 1939. She was a devoted mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, loved gardening, cooking, travel, dancing, playing games & enjoyed many years at the Moose Lake family cottage.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Viewing will be from 1:30 until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the funeral service in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Greg, Scott, Bill and Mike, Greg Veosovich and Chris Okell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Syroway, Wayne Buzahora and Gord French.
