It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather at the age of 87 years. George leaves to mourn his wife of 63 years Beverly (nee Wylie) and his four children, Janice (Roger), Tom (Abbi), Ian, Brenda (Bruce); daughter-in-law Kim and sister-in-law Louise (Dave). He also leaves 10 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
George was pre-deceased by his parents Harry & May and his son-in-law Leo.
George was a police officer with the WPS and he retired as the Manager of SIU at MPI.
We would like to thank the staff of the 5th floor at Poseidon Care Home for the compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 22 at Windsor Park United Church 1062 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Windsor Park United Church.
