

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the all too sudden passing of Travis Jordan Mykytyn, 20, of Lorette, MB, on March 27th, 2010 in Winnipeg, MB.
Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmother, Morris Mykytyn and Amanda Lowes, Lorette, MB; his mother and stepfather, Lorna and Mike Grace, Thunder Bay, ON; his brother, Blake Mykytyn, Winnipeg, MB; his stepbrothers, Evan and Ashton Lowes, Lorette, MB; his stepsister, Rachael Grace, Victoria, BC; paternal grandparents, John and Gisela Mykytyn, Rainy River, ON; aunts, Jo-Ann (Phil Berard), Sioux Lookout, ON; Sandy (Grant Yeo), Fort Frances, ON; Christine (Bruce Payne), Calgary, AB; uncles, Mike (Brigitte Mykytyn), Lorette, MB; Trent (Sherri Charles), Vermilion Bay, ON; Phil (Phyllis Barclay), Stonewall, MB; and cousins, Sam, Rachelle, Alex, Dusty, Simon, Julie, Janine, Kyle, Logan, Drew, Trevor, Kaija and numerous friends.
Travis was predeceased by his paternal great-grandmother, Jesse Mykytyn, maternal grandparents, Frank and Bobbi Charles, aunt Carol Barclay (nee Mykytyn), and uncles Brett Charles and great-uncle Dieter Kaus.
Travis was born on February 9, 1990 in Fort Frances, ON. He attended Riverview Elementary School and Rainy River High School in Rainy River, ON, graduating in 2008. He moved with his family to Lorette, MB, during the summer of 2008. He pursued a variety of employment opportunities before deciding to train as a truck driver.
Travis thrived in the outdoors, he spent much of his time on his grandparent’s farm. His passions were three-wheeling, snowmobiling, biking, boating and fishing. He enjoyed hockey, building jumps and spending time with his big brother and his friends.
Memorial services were held at the Green Acres Funeral Home in Winnipeg, MB on April 1st, 2010 at 2:00 pm, with Glen Armstrong officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River, ON.
