It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yvette Tellier (nee Trudeau), who left us tragically on October 7th, 2019 at the young age of 62. Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Rene and Germaine Trudeau.
Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband Guy, her sons Dan (Marla) and Marc (Krista), and her loving grandchildren Zachary, Seth, Anna, and Matthew. She also leaves to mourn her sister Florence (Dave), brothers Gerry, Al (Irene), Dennis (Mary), Charles (Jacqueline) and, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Yvette grew up on a family farm in Ile des Chenes, Manitoba. Yvette was a devoted wife and mother. After a dedicated and fulfilling career as a database programmer with Varian Medical Systems, she was in the midst of enjoying her well-deserved retirement. She loved travelling, reading, baking, going to the gym and especially loved to ride her motorcycle. She was also a dedicated grandmother to her grandchildren. She was a strong source of encouragement, support and love to her entire family and her ever-growing network of friends. She was basking in her retirement and was continuing her personal growth and exploring the wonders of the world.
Yvette especially enjoyed the annual family summer trips to Camp Waterfall, near Kenora, Ontario, her yearly extended snowbird trips to Mexico with Guy and her annual summer multi-week motorcycle trips with her biking group. Yvette and Guy also had the opportunity to go on a European river cruise last year, which Yvette especially enjoyed and continued to glow about right up until her passing.
Yvette was very proud of her family. She was a fierce protector of her family and wasn’t afraid to say so. Yvette had a thirst for knowledge and learning and loved to have engaging conversation with those she loved and cared for.
A celebration of Yvette’s life was held on Friday, October 18th, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the TransCanada Centre, in Ile des Chenes, MB.
The family would like to thank the RM of Ritchot Fire Dept and the staff at the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Dept for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
