Mary Garica Medrano

Mary was a life-long resident of Needles and attended Needles schools.

She was married to her husband, Flumencio (Flu) Medrano for 57 years. Together, they raised six children.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Flu; son, Charlie; brothers, Paul C., John G., Espiridion (Pio) Garcia; sisters, Juanita G. Russell and Jodie Martinez. She was the matriarch of the Garcia family.

Mary is survived by son, Sam Garcia; daughter Ronnie Gonzales; sons, Tommy Villereal and Danny Medrano and daughter, Gloria Ramirez.

Mary had 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Before her death, there were five generations of girls in her family.

Visitation and Rosary services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, beginning at 5 and 7 p.m. Mass will be held Wednesday, September 26, at 9:30 a.m. All services will be held at Saint Ann's Catholic Church located at 218 D Street in Needles. Interment will follow at Needles' Riverview Cemetery.

Following Mass and interment services, the immediate family invites family and friends to Father Hanley Hall for a celebration of their beloved Mother and Grandmother's life.

The Hall is located behind Saint Ann's Catholic Church on Third Street.
