Agatha "A.B." Roman

Agatha "A.B." Roman, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. A.B. was born December 9, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry and Ruby Ashby. She was a retired medical assistant and a member of Epiphany United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Citizens' Advisory Board with the Louisville Fire Department for many years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Roman; a son, Joseph D. Roman; and a brother, Woodrow Ashby. A.B. is survived by a daughter, Kathy Kovie Shepherd and her husband, Raymond Shepherd; nieces, Bonnie Murphy, Susie Bowles and Becky Thomas. Visitation for A.B. will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with private entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
