Agnes M. (Ball) Lee

Agnes M. (Ball) Lee, aged 90, passed away on November 6, 2025. She was born in New Albany, IN on January 10, 1935 to the late Chester and Gertrude (Day) Ball. Agnes was a graduate of New Albany High School and a lifetime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Lee, her sisters Helen Ball and June Blunk and her son-in-law Tom Reister.

Agnes is survived by her children Richard M. Lee (Jana), Laura J. Goad (Aaron), and Trudy K. Reister. She had 11 grandchildren, Stacey Ricketts (Jason), Justin Lee (Chloe), Jamie Smith (Sean), Julia Sanchez (Nick) , Gavin Carpio-Goad (Bryan), Grant Goad (Cassady), BJ Reister, Nikki Cox (Matt), Thomas Reister (Amelia), Traci Hardy (Josh), and Carrie Rohner, (Marcus) and 16 great-grandchildren, Peyton Ricketts, Ivory Lee, Josie Lee, Karsyn Smith, Sophia Smith, Kennedy Smith, Grady Goad, Gus Goad, Lucas Reister, Lucy Reister, Kathleen Cox, Harley Cox, Caroline Cox, Kyla Hardy, Kynzie Hardy, Lincoln Rohner.

Agnes devoted her entire life to her family, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her world.

In early years she was the Drum Major for St. Mary’s School Band, marching in many events. She enjoyed this immensely.

Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN, on November 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, located at 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN, on November 13, 2025, at 11:00 am.

The final resting place will be Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
