ALBERTA J. ZIEGLER, 92, died March 12, 2016. Alberta was born October 18, 1923 in Oldenburg, Indiana to the late John and Ann Kirschner Ziegler. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, St. Mary’s Altar Society, and 3rd Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include the family of Mary Ruth and the late Huston Ernstberger, Guardians; cousins, Father Joe Feltz and his parents, Kathleen and Arnold Feltz, and Norbert and Ellen Kirschner. A sincere thank you is extended to “brother” Craig Gray and the staff at the Robert E. Lee Care Center.
Visitation will be 11 AM ~ 2 PM Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be 2 PM Friday at her church. She will be laid to rest at 10 AM Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Oldenburg, Indiana.
