ALEX M. K. ISOM, 21, formerly of New Albany, unexpectedly passed away on July 6, 2015 after suffering a seizure while swimming in the waters of Nanakuli Beach, Hawaii with friends. The son of Michael Isom and the late Pearline Ebanez Isom, Alex was born March 3, 1994 in New Albany, IN. Alex was kind and caring beyond his years and a shining light to all that knew him.
Survivors Include his parents, Michael and Sara Isom; siblings, Leah Isom and Brody Isom; grandparents, Christine and Nick Kime, Larry and Pam Isom, and Mercedes Ebanez; aunts, Kim Isom-Weir, Heidi Cook, and Laura Aina; and uncles, Thomas, John, and Guy Ebanez.
Visitation will be from 11 am until 3 pm Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. His Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm Saturday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with cremation to follow.
