April Renee Caswell

April Renee Caswell, age 42, of New Albany, Indiana passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Monday, August 19, 2024, after a long hard 15 month battle with neuroendocrine cancer. She was born on April 29th, 1982 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Marcella (Goff) Wilson. She met her husband, Roger, in 2001 and together they grew their family to three sons and one granddaughter. She recently graduated from Purdue Global with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration to help advance her career and passion in helping people through healthcare. April loved to spend her free time coloring to relax. She also enjoyed playing bingo and slots with her husband. April was always up for a trip to the beach for some sand therapy, she would spend hours searching for the perfect seashell.

April is preceded in death by her parents.

April is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Roger Caswell; her three sons, Landon (Brianna), Brayden, and Leland; her granddaughter, Laynee Jane; her siblings, John Wilson Jr., Charlie (Tara) Wilson, Terry (Tara) Wilson, Kim (Tommy) Flood, and Michelle Wilson; several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Rosie Batshon; her sister in law, Jennifer (Ben) Rodgers; and cousin in law, Tracy (John "Nubbs") Pearce.

A visitation will be on held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Monday, August 26th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

A funeral service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on August, 27th, 2024 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
