Barbara A. (Robbins) Wheatfill

Barbara A. (Robbins) Wheatfill, 77, passed away February 24, 2021 at her home in Clarksville, Indiana. The daughter of the late Robert Franklin Robbins and Edna Marie Johnson Robbins, Barbara was born October 18, 1943 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, where she earned her L.P.N. degree. She was a L.P.N. for over 30 years. She served the Sisters of Providence at St. Mary of the Woods for many years, then she and her late husband, Raymond E. Wheatfill, retired to Dunnellon, Florida where she continued to work as a nurse in a doctors office for ten more years. Barbara was very giving. She loved to crochet and would donate items to her church and charitable organizations. Barbara is survived by three daughters, Suzan Hamilton (Tim), Jeannie Benedict (William), and Peggy Murdock (Rick); grandchildren, Angela Busick, Lindsay Parente, Tangella Hamilton, Amanda Burch, Stephanie Miller, Daniel Zorola, Aaron Salinas, Lauren Wheatfill, Devin Benedict, Meggan Jones, Joshua Jeffers, and Sarah Norris; a loving sister, Susan Cowdrey; and 29 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 am ~ 1 pm Sunday, February 28th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
