I have such fond memories of Sister Bea Hawkins. Every Sabbath Bea and Gib would be at Church absolutely setting the tone of hospitality and love to everyone there. And many times after church they would invite everyone up to the house! When the holidays neared, I had the privilege of going with Bea to the supermarket to buy the many turkeys and other essentials for the holiday baskets prepared for those in need. I know of no greater example of genuine Christianity and generosity than I saw in the lives of Bea and Gib Hawkins. My own Mother and Father thought so very highly of them as well. I eagerly look forward to the day coming very soon when Jesus returns and we will all be reunited with them!
