BEN ALLEN RUCKLE, 74, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his home. The son of the late Alva and Alice Branstetter Ruckle, Ben was born July 23, 1941 in Lafayette, Indiana. He was Principal at Borden High School for 23 years, a member of the Indiana Secondary Principal Association, and attended Northside Christian Church. Ben was also an avid I.U. fan.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Emily Wolfe Ruckle; sons, Brett (Carol), Gregory (Mindy), and Eric (Tami) Ruckle; and grandchildren, Joshua, Emilie, Elizabeth, and Ethan.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and after 9:00 am Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with cremation to follow.
