Berna Marie Cochran

Born on July 4, 1941 in Hamlin, Main, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Annette McClintock Cyr.

She had been a resident of Princeton, WV for several years. She was a member of Cumberland Heights Baptist Church , Bluefield, WV. She had spent most of her life as a resident of the Harrison County, Indiana area. She was a homemaker and was a longtime member of Charlestown Road Baptist Church, New Albany, Indiana.

She will always be remembered for her love of the lord and her sweet smile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Preston Cochran and son, Melvin Kirk Cochran.

She is survived by two sisters, Rena Jensen of Florida, Joyce Tucker of California, and one brother, Burton Cyr of Alaska; two sons, Kevin Cochran and his wife Rebecca of Nemours, WV, Keith Cochran and his wife Thelma of Indiana, three granddaughters, Jessica George of Indiana, Courtney Church of Virginia, and Karen Cochran of Indiana; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 am until 12 pm Saturday December19, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Celebration of life service will follow at 12 pm Saturday in he Kraft Chapel with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
