BETTY L. (ORD) HEEKE, 83 years of age, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home. The daughter of the late Isaac William and Vivian B. (Reed) Ord, Betty was born June 26, 1928 in New Albany. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Heeke, Sr.; brothers, Jack and William Ord; and a sister, Barbara Speth.
Survivors include her children, Charles E. Heeke, Jr., Terry L. Heeke, Stephen A. Heeke, Barry W. Heeke and Lisa J. Heeke; sisters, Alice Losch and Dorothy June Miller; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 pm Friday in the Kraft Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
