

Ann was known for having a strong work ethic, but mostly was known as a great mother who enjoyed being outside. In her working career, she worked at J.J. Newberry's, New Albany Tribune, Craig Ford Auto Sales, and Akin's Medical Center. She was a member of the Salvation Army, where she volunteered as an instructor in the Corps Cadet Programs. She was also a member of Jacob's Chapel Church.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brian Wade "Slick" Anderson; and her siblings, Charles Martin, Vickie Ruckman, Ronnie Martin, Tommy Martin, Douglas "Dougie" Martin, and Betty Stickles.
Ann is survived by her husband, Joe Anderson; her daughter, Gayl Anderson; and her siblings, Ricky Martin and Sandra "Sandy" Martin.
A Reception of Family and Friends will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on August 25, 2026, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring St, New Albany, Indiana.
A Celebration of Her Life will be conducted at 6:00 pm on August 25, 2026, in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel. The dignity of cremation was chosen, and she will be interred in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana, at a later date.
