Beverly J. “Bev” Costa, 53 years of age died Tuesday surrounded by her beloved dogs and family. Beverly was born October 21st, 1958 in New Albany to Joseph A. and Betty Costa. She was a registered nurse and formerly worked at Green Valley Care Center and most recently at Wedgewood Health Care. Bev loved visiting and being with people and her many friends and she will be greatly missed by all who met and knew her, especially her partner and companion of over some ten years Wyatt Striegel. She loved her daughter Lauren with a friendship and relationship that was forever and also her pets and boxers held a special place in her heart. Bev was truly one of a kind.

Reception of friends and family will be from 4:00 pm ~ 7:30 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with her Memorial Service at 7:30 pm Thursday evening in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana
