Bobby Russell Davis Sr.

Bobby Russell Davis Sr. 78, died Sunday November 15, 2015. Bobby was born April 29, 1937 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Henry Russell and Mabel (Mason) Davis. He lived most of his life in New Albany and was self-employed. Bobby loved race cars and horse racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Wayne Davis and a sister, Charlotte Ann Staser. Bobby will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him, especially all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who lovingly call him “Pa”.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Davis; daughter, Robyn Leigh Becht; son, Bobby Russell Davis Jr.; brother, Michael Wayne Davis (Bonnie); sister, Lina Jean Faulkenburg (Darrell); many nieces, nephews and his dog “Boo”.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday at the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
