Carol Ann Hardesty

CAROL A. HARDESTY, 77, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her residence. The daughter of the late Raymond W. and Esther (Kettering) Worley, Carol was born September 30, 1936 in Lawrence, Kansas. Carol was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Taylor Drug Store for 14 years before retiring in 1992. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hardesty, Sr. and a son, Arthur.

Survivors include her sons, Kevin Mayer, Christopher Baxter and Robert Hardesty, Jr.; step-daughter, Rona Hardesty;

0sisters, Bev Mater (Joe), Paula Hollen (Ken) and Sheri Rebeck (Jerry); 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial Monday in the New Albany National Cemetery.
