Carolyn K. Smith Biggs

CAROLYN K. SMITH BIGGS, 66, died, Sunday, May 31, 2015 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis after a courageous battle with leukemia. She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Buechler Smith. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and worked for over 30 years at Callistus Smith Insurance Agency. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, cherished grandmother GaGa, and a loyal sister. She enjoyed time with her family, vacations at the beach, and quality time with her friends.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jim Biggs; children, Jennifer Netter (Mitch) and Derek Biggs; 3 grandchildren, Kayli, Kyle, and Claire Netter; father, Robert P. Smith; and sisters, Ruth Ann Deuser and Cheryl Goodin.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
