Carolyn was the owner of two boutiques, 'She-Designs for Her' and 'Lizabeth Scott', where she shared her passion for fashion and helping others feel their best. Earlier in her life, she taught fifth grade in Jeffersonville, a role she embraced with care and dedication. Throughout her life, Carolyn remained deeply committed to causes close to her heart, especially animal conservation. She was a devoted supporter of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Cara Nishijima (Kent), Debbie DeMichele, and Marc DeMichele; Granddaughter, Naia DeMichele; Great-Grandson, Amari Bracey; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to Carolyn's parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Teddy Throckmorton, and his wife, Alveda; and Bobby Throckmorton, and his wife JoAnne.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
