Charles "Tony" Anthony Knotts Sr.
February 6, 1944 – May 5, 2022

Charles Anthony “Tony” Knotts, Sr., 78 years of age passed away on May 5, 2022. He was born February 6, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Owen and Mary Ann (Truman) Knotts. Tony was the former owner and President of Knotts Company, Inc. in New Albany. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid fisherman, sculptor, and a patent holder for the Jack-n-Tilt.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son, Eric Knotts; brother, Billy Knotts; brothers-in-law, Luther Disney and Fred Kelley; sister-in-law, Patricia “Pat” Kelley.
Survivors include his wife for 54 years, Becky Knotts; son, Tony Knotts, Jr. (Julie); sister, Joan Disney; grandchildren, Gunther Knotts and Elizabeth Knotts; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Pat and Pam Kelley, Marla Kelley, Peggy and Robbie Schaffer, Mike and Susan Kelley, Jeanne and David Lind, Sally and Bill Watts; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
