Charles Edward "Jack" Langness Jr.

Charles Edward “Jack” Langness, Jr. 74 years of age passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home. He was born July 26, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles Edward and Margaret (Gallagher) Langness, Sr. Jack was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, worked at Winn-Dixie for 29 years, and was the owner and operator of Jack’s in New Albany, Indiana. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Donald Langness and sister, Peggy Wheat. Survivors include wife, Susie (Parker) Langness; children, Brad Langness, Jason Langness, Courtney Cox (Mark); grandchildren, Thomas, Digby, Lazlo, Zoe, Gallagher, and Milli. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
