Clarence W. “Bill” Metz Jr., 71, died Sunday February 1, 2015 at his residence in Elizabeth, IN. He was born February 23, 1943 in Louisville, KY. to the late Clarence W. and Geneva M. (Jaeger) Metz Sr. and was a retired technician with A.T. & T. Company in Louisville. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Survivors include:
Wife of 52 years: Anna C. “Chickie” (Hughes) Metz
Daughters: Amy S. Smith and husband Matthew and Lisa C. Metz
Son: Joe W. Metz
Five Grandchildren and Two Great grandchildren
Brother: David Metz and wife Millie
Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Remembrance Liturgy will be held 10:00 am Saturday February 7th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany with a reception to follow at the Church Hall.
